The Navy League Cadet is issued the NLCC Syllabus upon enrollment.  Cadets must complete the practical
factors of the syllabus and then pass an exam for each part.  The practical factors are questions found after
chapter in each part.  There are five parts in the syllabus;
  • Apprentice Cadet
  • Able Cadet
  • Petty Officer Third Class
  • Petty Officer Second Class
  • Petty Officer First Class  
  • NOTE: At this time there are no practical requirements for Ship's Leading Petty Officer (SLPO)
